Big Melbourne caravan manufacturer introduces new 7.9m long Iveco-based luxury motorhome.

Melbourne's New Age Caravans has ripped the covers off its first touring motorhome, which is now on sale and on display at eight New Age dealers around the country.

The 15-year-old caravan manufacturer was recently taken over by Melbourne's JB Caravans, so it's no surprise the first New Age-badged motorhome to hit the dealer yards has a lot in common with the JB Touring motorhome launched in late-2023.

Like the JB model, the New Age NAM8 motorhome is a 7.9m long, 2.4m wide and 3.2m high, luxury on-road couple's ensuite model, built on a rear-wheel drive Iveco Daily 50 180 cab-chassis. It's powered by a 132kw/430Nm 3.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with eight-speed automatic transmission, and rated to a standard, car licence-friendly GVM of 4495kg that's upgradeable to 5200kg.

It also benefits from a slick, full composite fibreglass construction including one piece panels for the floor, walls and roof, smooth convex roof profile, fully moulded external storage lockers and an integrated roll-over protection system.
